A Glimpse into
Kid’s Ground

Kid’s Ground is a weekend learning space where children grow in character, faith, and confidence. The main heartbeat is Akhlaq. Children learn to honour their parents, respect their teachers, care for their friends, and carry themselves with humility wherever they go. Every subject in BTB rests on this foundation.

Class begins at 2.30pm with Surah Al Fatihah. This recitation sets the intention for the day, asking Allah to open every good door in this world and the next. After that, the children move into a short warm up exercise to awaken their bodies, refocus their attention, and prepare their hearts for learning.

After warming up, the children sit together for the opening doas and Tasbih Time. They recite Laa ilaha illallah, Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar while watching gentle slides that show the meaning behind each phrase and the moments they should be said. During this moment, they are reminded of the Prophet’s teaching that angels surround gatherings of remembrance. As narrated, “No people sit in a gathering remembering Allah, but the angels surround them, mercy covers them, tranquility descends upon them and Allah remembers them before those who are with Him.” This helps the children understand that remembrance is not just repeating, it is feeling, sitting still, and remembering Allah with awareness while knowing the angels are near.

Akhlaq takes place from 3pm to 3.45pm. Lessons are gentle, interactive, and rooted in real situations that help children practise good manners in daily life.

A short refreshment break follows from 3.45pm to 4pm. This moment allows children to socialise, share snacks, and learn the value of healthy eating. Fruits are encouraged, and blueberries have become the favourite at BTB.

Learning continues at 4pm with the second period, followed by the third period at 4.45pm. Subjects rotate each semester, while Akhlaq remains throughout the year. Class time is kept lively and engaging, with minimal writing. Simple notes are provided, and any written work is taken home as light exercises.

Once every four weeks, a team building session takes place with a qualified coach. These activities strengthen communication, teamwork, and confidence. Children learn to listen, speak up, and work with others with patience and respect.

Every month includes a percussion and Qasidah session. Children learn rhythm, sing devotional pieces, and enjoy the joy of performing together. This has become one of the most anticipated parts of the BTB journey.

Kid’s Ground is more than a class. It is a nurturing environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and believed in. The lessons they learn here follow them home, into school, and into the wider world they are growing into.
