Bend the Bamboo?

About Bend The Bamboo

Bend The Bamboo (BTB) is a weekend Children’s Moral Development Programme by Revamp Enrichment Centre, an Islamic education provider approved by MUIS.

The name comes from the Malay proverb “Melentur buluh biarlah daripada rebungnya,” meaning; “Bend the bamboo while it’s still a shoot.”

It reminds us that the best time to shape a person’s character is during childhood, while hearts are soft and receptive.

Its English equivalent, “Strike the iron while it’s hot,” carries the same truth; that early nurturing leads to lasting strength.

Bend The Bamboo places Akhlaq (moral character) at the heart of every lesson.
Children learn sincerity, manners, and discipline through meaningful experiences that shape not only how they behave, but who they become.

The programme lays the foundation for strong character, teaching that good habits and moral discipline are among the most valuable life lessons we can nurture in our children.
